Scientific researcher joins the Chair's team
Zeinab Heidary joins the research team at the Chair of Microsystems Technology for Medical Engineering, bringing expertise in fluid mechanics for medical applications. Her work includes thermal analysis for orthodontic processes and studies of microstreaming and microfluidic effects caused by bubble oscillations. Her experience extends to experimental and numerical studies of microbubble dynamics under ultrasound fields, gained during a research stay in the Soft Matter group at Otto von Guericke University.
In her role, she will focus on developing innovative solutions for miniaturized, highly integrated actuator and sensor concepts. Her background in computational fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and biomechanics will contribute to advancing research in microactuators and microfluidics, with potential applications in medical technology.
